Young Leaders for Indonesia (YLI Indonesia) is an intensive leadership development program that is derived from McKinsey & Company. The program targeted to high performing students in Indonesia universities based on their academic credentials, leadership experience, and problem solving potential.
Each year, started since 2008, YLI select 60 outstanding young leaders to attend 3 forums for 6 months program. In Forum 1, participants will get chance to meet Indonesian leaders from various sectors. Some of the speakers in YLI are: Anies Baswedan, Gita Wirjawan, Martha Tilaar, Kuntoro Mangunsarkoro, Handy Satriago, etc.
This video tells a glimpse of the impact which has been given to the graduates by YLI Foundation. Of course, the more important thing is how the graduates of YLI give an impact to the society in Indonesia.
This 4 minute video features 4 graduates of YLI Indonesia: Brian Marshall (CEO of SIRCLO), Yosea Kurnianto (Founder of Youth Educators Sharing Network), Mahardhika Sadjad (Director of IndoRelawan), and Shuhaela Zen (Director of Tusk Advisory).
They tell some problems Indonesia faced, but they sure there’re many gaps and solutions that can be given by a youth. YLI program gives a lot of input on the vision and the opportunity to make impacts and changes in Indonesia.
