Studio Antelope is an independent film studio based in Jakarta. We develop and produce feature films, series, and original IP from Indonesia. We collaborate with filmmakers, writers, platforms, and partners who are interested in Indonesian stories with distinct voices.

We are especially drawn to filmmakers with a sharp point of view: people who know the worlds they want to explore, the characters they want to follow, and the questions they cannot leave alone. Our work is to help those stories take shape, find the right collaborators, and reach the screen with clarity.

ORIGIN

It started with students who fell in love with cinema

Studio Antelope began in 2011 as a film community formed by students from eight different universities. They watched films, made short films, shared equipment, and learned by doing.

That early spirit became the foundation of the studio: curious, collaborative, and built around people who wanted to tell good stories. Today, Studio Antelope develops and produces films, series, and original IP.

Jason Iskandar

Jason Iskandar is a filmmaker and co-founder of Studio Antelope. His work spans short films, feature films, and series, often circling family, identity, memory, and the everyday pressure points of Indonesian life.

Florence Giovani

Florence Giovani is a producer and co-founder of Studio Antelope. She is alumni of EAVE Ties That Bind & SGIFF Producer’s Network, and an active member of APROFI (Indonesian Film Producer Association).
