What is Studio Antelope?
Studio Antelope is an independent film studio based in Jakarta. We develop and produce feature films, series, and original IP from Indonesia, working with filmmakers, writers, platforms, and partners interested in Indonesian stories with distinct voices.
What kind of projects does Studio Antelope make?
We work across feature films, scripted series, short films, and original IP development. Some projects are made for cinemas. Some are made for streaming platforms. Some begin as short films or early ideas, then grow into larger stories, characters, or worlds.
Where is Studio Antelope based?
We are based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Our stories are rooted in Indonesia, but we work with collaborators, platforms, festivals, and partners from different places.

Can I submit a film or series idea to Studio Antelope?
Yes, you can reach out through our contact form. Please send a short introduction, a logline or brief project summary, your current stage of development, and any relevant links such as a deck, teaser, portfolio, or previous work.
Should I send a full script?
Please do not send a full script unless we ask for it. For a first message, a short project summary, logline, deck, or sample of previous work is enough. If the project feels like the right conversation, we can ask for more materials later.
What do you look for in filmmakers?
We are interested in filmmakers with distinct voices and clear points of view. That does not mean the project has to be fully polished from the beginning. We are more interested in people who have a strong relationship to the world, characters, or questions they want to explore!
Do you work with first-time filmmakers?
Yes, when the voice, idea, and working relationship feel right. Studio Antelope began as a film community, so we understand that filmmakers grow through practice, trust, and collaboration.
Do you co-produce with other companies or partners?
Yes. We are open to conversations with producers, platforms, financiers, institutions, and creative partners who are interested in developing or producing Indonesian stories.
Do you work with streaming platforms?
Yes. Studio Antelope develops and produces series and films that can work for platforms, cinemas, and other audience spaces.

#BikinDanBerbagi is Studio Antelope’s spirit of making and sharing. Through our online circle, social media, articles, videos, and events, we share notes from the filmmaking process: writing, producing, directing, pitching, set life, development, and other practical things.
Is Studio Antelope only for professional filmmakers?
No. Our community is open to filmmakers, film students, film lovers, writers, producers, creators, and anyone curious about how films are made.
