Synopsis
Joni Wirata is a spoiled heir whose life changes after a public scandal damages his reputation and forces him out of the family business. Hoping to prove himself, he returns to Ciwani with one mission: sell his family’s old roof-tile factory.
But the factory is not just an asset on paper. It is part of a living community shaped by labor, local pride, and the long history of Ciwani’s roof-tile industry. The workers have their own rhythms, personalities, and loyalties, while Joni quickly realizes that privilege and charm are not enough to fix a business he barely understands.
When he discovers a local contest of strength among the factory workers, Joni sees an opportunity. By turning the contest into a viral spectacle, he hopes to attract attention, increase the factory’s value, and win back his place in the family business.
What begins as a self-serving plan slowly forces him to confront the people and culture behind the factory he once saw only as something to sell.
